Marge had her babies!

Yesterday was a good day. I came home from work to find that Marge had her babies. This was a Dubay Line Orangetail Hypo boa x Salmon Jungle boa breeding. I haven’t pulled the babies yet, so I’m not sure what the count is. I do know that there are a lot of Jungles. I’ll be keeping a few from this litter that’s for sure!

Once the babies start moving around, I will pull them and get a count. Here are some pictures of the litter.

Amazing Baby Boas

On August 18, 2007, our pastel hypo red tail boa which was bred with an arabesque male had babies. This was her first litter. She gave us twenty-six amazing babies. Five hypo arabesque, nine arabesque, four hypo, and eight normal babies. There were no slugs or still born.

Here she is in a dark phase…

These babies will make for some terrific future projects. Imagine the potential of these babies when injected into any project such as Arabesque Sunglows, use your imagination! We would love to hold all of these back, but just can’t keep everything. I guarantee, whomever ends up adding these animals into their collection will not be disappointed!
