Guarantee
Every animal purchased is guaranteed 100% healthy and feeding. LIVE Arrival is guaranteed when shipped according to our temperature standards.
Snakes under six months old are sexed by “popping”. While every male is completely verified and guaranteed, there is a small chance that boas initially diagnosed as females have a slight chance of being male. These “female” boas can be safely probed at six months old to ensure proper sex. While this is only a slight chance, it does still exist. By purchasing a boa under the age of six months, you are accepting this slight chance.
The sex of leopard geckos cannot be 100% guaranteed until four months of age. Leopard geckos sold under four months of age are sexed by egg incubation temperature.
All animals are backed and guaranteed by a 72-hour wellness period. If within the first 72 hours, from time of receipt, you are not satisfied, we will replace the animal with an equivalent as soon as possible.
To insure the health and safety of the animal, you must be available to take delivery when the package arrives. All packages must be signed for by the customer or our guarantee is null and void.

Payment Options
Payment is required in advance by cashier check, PayPal, or money order made payable to Larry Petty Jr. PayPal payments should be sent to the account larry@sunshinestateexotics.com. Personal checks or business checks are accepted, but must clear before shipment is sent. Money orders and cashiers checks should ONLY be sent certified/registered mail. This ensures a tracking number for delivery verification.
Email me for address information if sending Money Order or Cashier Checks.
NOTE: With PayPal, your shipping address MUST be the same as the Billing address of the Credit Card, or your purchase request will be denied and we will not ship.

Shipping Options
Shipments are sent by UPS or FedEx. Shipping charges depend on package size/weight and where you live. We are based in Florida, the closer you are to Florida the lower the shipping charges are. We only ship on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. It is the safest time of the week to ship.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
Live Arrival Guarantee Conditions
The following conditions must be met at time of shipping:
1) We ship animal on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday
2) Night time temperatures on either end must be above 40 degrees F.
3) Day time temperatures on either end must be below 90 degrees F.
Exceeding these conditions could jeopardize the health of the animal, possibly due to in transit errors that could possibly delay the package. With customer demand shipping dates that are outside these temperature guidelines, live arrival is NOT guaranteed.
Should you approve or authorize shipping outside of the guidelines stated above, please email us (using your verified PayPal address that you paid for the animal with) with an authorization to ship outside of the standards stated above. Once we receive the authorization email, we will arrange shipment at the earliest shipping date. Of course, we will take the utmost care in shipping, utilizing heat packs/cold packs accordingly, but there is a risk.
Shipping dates are selected based upon our availability to ship, AND the availability of the customer to receive. Both of these conditions must be satisfied. We ship only as weather and time permits. A single day/night in your area that meets temperature requirements may not be enough time to have the boa shipped. We require a window of opportunity. Several days that meet the conditions often allow us to prepare for and ship your animal. In no case should you expect to pay for and have the animal shipped on the same or following day. If you have special ship date requirements, you should request a confirmation of ship date BEFORE you purchase.
Notice: Purchasing an animal during the winter months could delay shipment. Be sure you are aware of the temperature constraints.
In case of return of any animal, the shipping charges will not be refunded.

Reservations
Reservations are made on a “first pay” basis. To secure your purchase we must receive a 20% deposit on the price of the animal. Receipt of this deposit insures your reservation and your commitment to purchase the animal. If for any reason we are not able to produce the animal to fill your order, we will notify you and refund your deposit.
Lay Away Option
A 20% down payment is required to hold or lay away any animal. This 20% deposit is non-refundable and is required to remove the animal off the market and delete any advertisement we may have running.
Once a deposit of 20% down is received, the animal is marked with your name. We will continue to care for your animal until it is paid in full. When the account is paid in full, we will ship the animal.
We are open to payment plans that fit almost any budget. The terms of the lay away plan will depend on animal value and agreed upon together prior to sale. If after the maximum period set, final payment is not made, we reserve the right to refund any monies paid over and above the initial 20% down payment, and to place the animal back for sale.
